The Polocrosse Extreme Cup

The Polocrosse Extreme Cup includes within it both a UK Polocrosse Association club tournament and a Pony Club Polocrosse tournament.

The UKPA tournament will features all the UK’s top polocrosse clubs as try to get their hands on a coveted Polocrosse Extreme Cup winners medal. The top grade of the competition will include the UK Polocrosse team who are using the competition as a warm up for their July tour of South Africa. However, there are plenty of other UK and foreign players who intend to make sure they don’t have an easy weekend of it and expect to see the UK team pushed to their limits in the A grade.

Running just on one day, the Pony club competition is a competition for Pony Club polocrosse teams. It gives Pony Club polocrosse teams a chance for an early run out as they aim to prepare for the Pony Club Championships in August.

Teams will come from all over the country to compete at a number of different levels, as polocrosse is a game for people of all abilities. From the UK’s top players and the foreign stars playing in the A grade for their club sides down to the beginners in the E grade, they will all come to the Cup to both compete and enjoy themselves.

Polocrosse is a game for all ages and the competitions will see UKPA Juniors (Under 16′s), Primary Juniors (Under 14′s) and Pony Club teams of various ages competing. It is very much a family sport and though the competition on the pitch will be fierce off the pitch all the players will socialise together and enjoy themselves during the two day tournament.

Play will happen simultaneously on four pitches at all times so there will be a wide choices of matches to watch and enjoy.
